Cookie Policy
Last updated: 7 August 2026
This site sets no cookies at all until you actively accept the cookie banner. The only thing that runs before that is a cookie-less traffic counter (below) that can't identify you — there is nothing else to opt out of by default, and no advertising, personal, or cross-site tracking of any kind.
Anonymous traffic analytics (always on)
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and page views. It sets no cookies and no browser storage, assigns no persistent ID to your device, and cannot track you across sites or visits — Cloudflare's own measurement confirms this is privacy-preserving by design, which is why it runs for every visitor rather than waiting for consent. We only see aggregate counts (how many people visited which pages), never anything tied to an individual. See Cloudflare's Web Analytics privacy documentation for detail.
Strictly necessary
We use one entry in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) called cookie-consent, to remember whether you accepted or declined analytics — so we don't ask you every visit. This is essential to the consent mechanism itself and has no opt-out (declining doesn't remove the need to remember that you declined).
Analytics cookies (only if you accept)
If you click "Accept" on the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics (GA4), which sets:
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes unique visitors | ~2 years |
_ga_<container-id> | Persists session state for this property | ~2 years |
These are set and controlled by Google, not by us directly — see Google's cookie documentation for the current, authoritative list. We use this data only in aggregate (which pages/products are popular, where traffic comes from) — we do not use it to identify you personally or for advertising.
What we never use
- No advertising or re-targeting cookies
- No social-media tracking pixels
- No cross-site tracking of any kind
Changing your choice
Use the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer at any time to change your decision. If you previously accepted and now decline, Google Analytics stops loading on your next page view; existing _ga cookies already set in your browser will expire naturally or can be cleared manually via your browser's own cookie settings.
